Carteret County is requesting prices to Paint the Exterior of the Old Church Building located at the corner of Turner and Broad Streets in Beaufort, NC.

The work shall include:

Pressure Wash the entire Exterior
Scrape all loose paint to a sound surface
Sand trim where needed
Replace all putty around window glass
Oil-prime all raw wood
Apply two coats of Exterior Paint to all exterior building surface and building trim.
Oil-prime and apply two coats of paint to concrete steps
Repair or replace rotten fascia board before painting

Carteret County requests Bids for Construction of Small Structures at Newport Park. The structures include placing concrete slabs and assembly of bandstand and gazebo building kits furnished by the County as well as construction of two Picnic Shelters. Sealed bids will be received on or before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. A Mandatory site visit will be held at Newport Park on February 9th at 10 AM. Carteret County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment to perform repairs and associated work for Breakwater repairs Atlantic Harbor of refuge, Carteret County, North Carolina. Repairs will require use of Geotextile Sandbags to placed and filled with material removed from Disposal Area 26 on two sandbag alignments within the Breakwater repair area. The area between the two sandbag alignments will be backfilled to a height six feet above mean high water with material removed from Disposal Area 26. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Solicitation is 100% HubZone Set Aside. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 4 December 2009 with bids due on or about 5 January 2010.
