Carteret County Emergency Services is seeking highly qualified and motivated EMS professionals. Immediate openings for part-time QRV Paramedics. EMS operates 3 stations which provide Paramedic assist to 9 basic and intermediate squads and provide back up for 6 Paramedic squads. Supports locally and in state with a mass casualty trailer capable of triaging 100 patients and treating 50 patients. Responsible for the overall coordination of all transportation including but not limited to Rural General Public and human service transportation pursuant to contracts. Manages the day-to-day operations of the coordinated system. More

CCATS DISPATCHER/SCHEDULER (Part-time)

Performs scheduling and communication dispatching work. Responsible primarily for receiving requests for service, scheduling of service requests into efficiently transported groups of riders, preparing daily trip logs for drivers, two-way radio communications with drivers throughout the day, and working closely with the administrative assistant to maintain billing records for invoicing and record keeping purposes. CCATS DRIVER (Part-time)

Performs work in the operation of a van or other vehicles to assure safe transportation of passengers to and from various destinations. Makes daily inspections of vehicle for fluid and oil levels as well as tires, water and battery including lifts. May require assisting the elderly and disabled passengers in boarding and departing from vehicle. Requires the ability to record and deliver information, to explain procedures, to follow oral and written instructions. More

CCATS DISPATCHER (Part-time)

Performs a variety of duties related to the delivery of public and human service transportation services. Such duties involve the use of a calculator, personal computer, main frame computer terminal, printer, fax machine, telephone, and voice radio communication equipment.
