Rob Wheatly, Attorney

The County Attorney is directly appointed by the Board of Commissioners and serves at the pleasure of the Board. The County Attorney represents the County in all legal issues and provides legal guidance to the Board of Commissioners and County staff.

The Carteret County Attorney is Claud Wheatly III ("Rob"), of Wheatly, Wheatly, Nobles, and Weeks, P.A. Rob has served as the County Attorney since December 1996.
